At SRIJORAA, our identity was not born of random syllables. It is an intentional linguistic synthesis of two timeless roots from Indian philosophy, celebrating auspicious beauty and the sacred art of harmonious union.
In ancient Indian thought, Sri (श्री) evokes auspiciousness, radiant grace, prosperity, and the pursuit of sacred perfection. In our studio, "Sri" represents our reverence for natural raw materials—unbleached botanical soy waxes, organic earth pigments, clean burning cotton wicks, and tactile handmade papers. It is our pledge to craft with purity, intention, and enduring grace.
Originating from the cultural concept of "Jod" (जोड़)—meaning a meaningful union, connection, and harmonious bond. "Joraa" celebrates the convergence of artisanal handcraft with modern design technology. It bridges the tactile warmth of human making with algorithmic 3D geometry, and creates an intimate connection between our handcrafted objects and the personal sanctuary of your home.

SRIJORAA was founded out of a quiet frustration with fast, mass-manufactured home decor. In an era where living spaces are increasingly filled with uniform, disposable merchandise, we chose a deliberate, slower path centered on small-batch craftsmanship, sensory warmth, and architectural mindfulness.
From our studio based in Lucknow, India, we draw inspiration from both deep cultural craftsmanship and modern minimalist architecture.
